This is my word cloud for the short story "Blood". If you haven't read it, go and do so before you read the rest of the blog. There isn't an enormous amount of words in this word cloud, but it encompasses the main events of "Blood". It contains some of the more important and reoccurring words to the story such as "blood" and "mole" but also shows some of the descriptive language used by the author like "cozy" and "frightened". Most of the nouns deal with the main events of the story while most of the others were used figuratively as imagery for the settings and characters. As I said, there isn't a large sum of words in the image, but I feel like the words that deserve to be the most prevalent are "blood", "greed", and "hope."
What words are missing/what words would you put instead that would portray the story in the best way? Are there parts of the story that these words don't emphasize enough? Leave your opinions/suggestions in the comment section.
